Growing up in Peru, Chef Luis Sanchez was mesmerized by cooking at a young age. He has fond memories of the smell of his mother’s cooking, always starting with onions and garlic. Without following recipes, his mother showed him how a dish can take on a life of its own from the simplest of ingredients. Fast forward to today, where Chef Luis Sanchez is the chef/owner of a Peruvian inspired restaurant, Mouthful Eatery and Events by Chef Luis Sanchez, located just outside of Los Angeles, CA.
